Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t get any weirder – a woman claims she has captured a creepy paranormal figure at an abandoned hospital.
Kayleigh Love, from Swansea, filmed the footage during a walk-through of a former mental asylum in south Wales around two months ago.
In the video, Kayleigh describes the run-down and rubble-strewn hospital in detail, seemingly unaware that she is being “watched”.
After exploring the crumbling site she uploaded the footage to her Youtube channel, Love to Investigate, where she posts her investigations into reportedly haunted locations.
However, it wasn’t until weeks later, with the help of an eagle-eyed viewer, she said that the true “horror” of what she had captured that day came to light.
Kayleigh said: “I received a message from a subscriber informing me of what I’ve maybe missed during the footage itself. Upon reviewing this footage and the screen shots of the evidence, it became apparent I had caught something of a paranormal nature,” she said.
The video shows Kayleigh making her way down a corridor and panning the camera from left to right before the lens hovers over a doorway at the end of the hall.
A shape, which Kayleigh describes as the “figure of a lady with black hair who seems to be dressed in an old fashioned hospital gown,” looms in the doorway before disappearing.
“I pan the camera down out of view and as I come back up again you can witness the same figure walking to the right hand side and disappearing into the wall,” she added.
Kayleigh, who has investigating the paranormal for five months, said she occasionally explores abandoned old buildings.
“I wasn’t expecting this to turn into a haunting capture giving the fact it’s broad daylight,” she said. “The one time I wasn’t actively seeking any paranormal evidence is the time it presents itself.”
Kayleigh would not disclose the exact location of the asylum to “protect it from vandalism”.
However, she exclaimed: “A few sceptics have watched the footage and are baffled.
“I felt I was being watched the whole time I was there and, well, this evidence just proves I was right to experience those feelings as I was being,” she said.
