Scream n’ Stream
Back for a second year, this Oviedo drive-through takes visitors on a tour of Station 5, a secret military base. Each car must deliver a killswitch device to prevent clowns and zombies from escaping. This year’s event features additional special effects and interactivity in the form of laser tag guns. “It’s not a haunted house; it’s a haunted adventure. You’re traveling through a dark ride that you’re controlling,” said Patrick Braillard, the haunt’s head show writer.

A Petrified Forest
This Altamonte Springs haunt has been scaring Central Floridians for the past 14 years on outdoor trails. The theme of the attraction’s 14th year is “The Wrath of The Wendigo,” which sets the tone for the three haunted walking trails: Sewn, Derailed and Unleashed. Guests can also explore food and entertainment offerings or add-ons such as laser tag and a backstage tour.

In 2020, amid the need for social distancing, The Haunted Road began as a creative way to bring drive-through scares to visitors while keeping everyone safe. This year, the team realized the land might actually be haunted and set up the experience around designated “ghost sighting” areas. Is the road really haunted? Visit to find out.

One of Orlando’s staples in the world of haunted happenings is Halloween Horror Nights. Now celebrating its 30th year, the Universal Orlando event brings the scares with 10 houses, including ones inspired by “Beetlejuice” and “The Haunting of Hill House.” In addition, find five scare zones and two shows, plus special food and drink options at the after-hours event.

This year, Halloween fans can find Howl-O-Scream at both Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando. In Tampa, find five haunted houses, eight scare zones and two shows. SeaWorld offers four houses, four scare zones, two shows and several themed bar experiences.

Face the Fear
This immersive outdoor experience takes visitors into the woods of Longwood to explore a lost village and mine that’s been restricted by the government. But there may be creatures lurking to protect the valuable jadeite within.

Lake Catherine Blueberries
In Groveland, this U-pick blueberry farm is hosting a family-friendly scavenger hunt maze, plus two haunted trails for those who dare to enter. On Friday and Saturday nights, brave souls can attempt the Haunted Halloween Maze or Dark Forest Trail of Terror.

This Ocoee haunted house brings an interactive walk-through show to visitors. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Special Hearts Farm, which serves individuals with disabilities.

Paranormal Investigation at the Waterhouse Residence Museum
This Halloween season, explore the Waterhouse Residence, a part of Maitland’s Art & History Museums. According to the museum, people have shared stories of moving furniture, flickering lights and disembodied voices inside the residence. Join American Ghost Adventures to investigate these haunted happenings on an after-hours tour.

Orlando Haunts

Longwood Haunted History Tour
Step into the past while visiting the Bradlee-McIntyre House in Longwood. Stage Fright
This Leesburg haunt is bringing a Carnival of Frights to visitors this Halloween season. Explore this walk-through haunted house in the Melon Patch Theatre.

St. Cloud Trail of Terror

Haunted Manor Tour at Fantasy World Resort
Fantasy World Resort in Kissimmee brings a free experience to guests and the general public with a tour through the Horrowitch Family Manor and cemetery. The event will be held on the second floor of the activities building.

Mortem Manor
This year-round haunted house in Kissimmee, which has been named one of the “scariest haunted houses in America” by the Travel Channel, is open this Halloween season. The house takes visitors through a home once inhabited by the late Mortison family, a place now inhabited by ghosts. The attraction’s “burial simulator” is currently closed.
